The heart of the ward is built around Kettering Town Centre, which contains lots of opportunities for retail therapy, along with so much more, in the shape of leisure facilities, restaurants and a number of churches.

James is a chartered engineer. He has been working hard for the last four years as a Kettering Town Councillor. He grew up in Kettering and is now raising his two children here, he is invested in our town and will fight for it at every opportunity. 
In his work as a Kettering Town Councillor, he has been involved in the Planning Committee and opposed numerous HMO’s, the George Hotel expansion and the Spot-On/Cuetopia redevelopment. He also represents the town council on the Allotments Committee and has helped secure more investment for them.

Liane has always lived in Kettering, so understands the area well and is proud of our town – she takes being part of the community seriously. What happens in and to Kettering is really important to her. 
Liane holds a senior IT role in a large company and lives with her husband and two children. 
She has fundraised for charities including Home-Start and Johnny’s Happy Place through her work at the Happy Chic pre-loved clothes sales. 
Liane spoke at the Women’s Safety March and at the planning hearing to help save Weekley Hall Wood. 
She is part of the Kettering Carnival committee and regularly rolls up her sleeves to help at William Street Community Garden.

Hello, I’m Andy Byatt, I’m 43, married, with 3 primary aged children.
I live on Regent St and I’m a postman working at Kettering Delivery Office, where I am also a trade Union Officer for the Communication workers union. I was previously a member of the Labour party but left because I felt they had moved away from my core values.
