St Peter ward covers most of the west of kettering with excellent links onto the A14. The area is mainly residential, but also includes Kettering General hospital and Telford Lodge industrial estate, in addition to a number of schools. The area is also currently growing in terms of homes, with the develpment off Gipsy Lane moving forward at pace.

LEE WATKISS
Ward Councillor for:
Kettering Town Council.

STEVE GEARY
Ward Councillor for:
North Northamptonshire Council.
Kettering Town Council.
I have lived in Kettering for over 20 years, having moved to the area with a previous job and worked in a number of towns up and down the country prior to this. I am married, living at home with my wife and children.
Politics has always been a passion of mine since I was young, combining with a love for history, community and helping others. My children are now older (my oldest is at university) and this allows me the time to stand for councillor and make a positive change to the local community.
Why should you vote for me:
- I believe in strong communities coming together to create a great place to live and as such will look to build this from day one.
- Solution focused on what’s best for the area/Town, let’s look at what we can do, NOT what we cannot.
- Many years of retail management experience that I hope to use to enable us to work together on improving Kettering Town Centre.
- I am committed to creating greater transparency around council decision making and outcomes, encouraging more community engagement.
Thank you for taking the time to read. If you have any further questions or queries please don’t hesitate to contact me, using the email above. Please also feel free to view and follow my new Facebook page.
Steve lives locally and has recently retired, having worked for over 30 years in international business marketing.
My three aims are to:
- Help people with problems.
- Be an independent Green minded decision maker.
- Make Kettering a better place.
Retirement means I have the time and experience to work and deliver for one boss, the voter.
I will work with other councillors from any background to reach the best possible decision by representing a Green point of view.
No-one has a monopoly of wisdom and I will support an
