Siân Owens

I’ve spent the last 20 years in various voluntary roles working in the area as a school governor at Pen Green since 2007, helped form the local community association, served as the chair at Stephenson Way Community Centre for 5 years and am currently a trustee for Corby Community Arts based in the high street in Corby old village.  

I have spent the last 13 years campaigning against the 2 incinerators that have been granted planning permission. In that time, I have attended many meetings with the last 3 MPs and various councillors. 

My current role in the North Northamptonshire Green Party is the spokesperson for children and young people. As a Green I want to make a positive contribution in my local community and help to build a fairer, healthier country.
