The ward covers most of the North and North East parts of Kettering, extending to the edge of the Town Centre. It has fantastic links onto the A43, as well as easy access to the A14. The area is predominantly residential, however is home to the towns bowling alley as well as KBA secondary school.

Dez was born, raised and lives in Kettering. His mission is to build a better community for everyone who lives here. 
Dez still can’t believe how much Kettering rallied behind the Save Weekley Hall Wood and Meadow campaign. It is one of his proudest achievements, that together our community was able to win the planning appeal against the Duke of Buccleuch and his warehousing plans.

Having served as Mayor, a councillor for over three years, and a dedicated volunteer for local charities, I have local connections and experience. We have a wonderful community, and with the right support and leadership, we can be the catalyst for positive change. 
I believe we can transform the way our area feels. People are disillusioned, feeling that nothing ever changes. I am here to prove otherwise. A local councillor should be a true champion for the area, bringing people together to solve issues organically, revitalising our town centre, and supporting our incredible local businesses. 
I aim to empower local communities to address issues at the grassroots level, combined with strategic funding from above. This is how we will make our area a vibrant place to live.

James is a chartered engineer. He has been working hard for the last four years as a Kettering Town Councillor. He grew up in Kettering and is now raising his two children here, he is invested in our town and will fight for it at every opportunity. 
In his work as a Kettering Town Councillor, he has been involved in the Planning Committee and opposed numerous HMO’s, the George Hotel expansion and the Spot-On/Cuetopia redevelopment. He also represents the town council on the Allotments Committee and has helped secure more investment for them.
